FAQ's
When do I need to collect and drop off the hire items? Our standard hire periods are for 4 days, typically you would collect on a Friday and return on a Monday. But we understand parties are busy so we are happy to work in. Just let us know in advance.
Changed your party date? No worries changes to bookings can be made up to 10 days prior to the booking date (subject to availability). Cancellations made within 14 days of the booking date will incur a $50 fee. The remaining payment will be refunded to you.
Do you take a security deposit for hire items? A $50 security deposit will be required on pick up of our hire items, or a $100 security fee on packages over $200. All items will be inspected on their return and damages will be deducted from this deposit. The remaining deposit will be refunded to you.
Are you items made for the outdoors? Our items can be used outdoors when it is dry but if the ground is wet or it is due to rain then you will need to use them indoors.
Do I need to wash the items before returning them? We wash and sterilize the items when they are returned to SmallFRY HQ and this is included in the price.
Delivery and Set up
Our items are to be picked up and dropped off to North Canterbury, Woodend but we do offer a delivery and collection service at an additional cost.
This does depend on the volume of items you are ordering but typically if they all fit into one large four wheel drive then the charge is $20 each way Christchurch wide. So if you want it dropped off, then collected a few days later you would be looking at a total of $40.
We also offer a set up service for an additional $40
We can deliver to outer areas like Rolleston, Lincoln, Christchurch and Leeston and many more for a small additional cost.
